Interchangeability between Artex “Classic” and Artex Carbon Articulators
All Classic Artex articulator models are interchangeable with any
new Artex Carbon articulator models added to your user-circle. Simply
perform the initial, routine calibration of any new unit to your
existing units, and you are ready to articulate with precision.
Over 10 years ago, the Artex Articulation System took North America by storm. The system gained popularity in large and small laboratories and dental practices alike because of its unique ability to solve a well-known dilemma – that is, cases that fit perfectly on models, even if articulated, but did not fit perfectly in the mouth. The cause? No matter how highly skilled the technician or clinician, transferring cases between articulators incapable of holding the same tolerances can lead to inaccuracies.
The solution offered by Artex is proven, calibrated interchangeability with only microns of variance – in fact only 10 microns, or less than the width of a human hair.
Now, Artex helps you build in accuracy all throughout the restorative process, ensuring cases fit the same way from the model room, to the waxing, metal, and porcelain stations, and ultimately in the patient.
What’s more, initial calibration is simple and done right at the bench – not by sending back to the factory. Routine testing of calibration can be done on any unit within minutes by any user.
