The Dekema Story

In 1973, DEKEMA® Service GmbH in Frankfurt was founded by the Austrian DENTALOFENBAU Ges.m.b.H (the AUSTROMAT ceramic oven’s manufacturer. founded in 1953) to take care of service needs in Germany. DEKEMA GmbH started the industrial production of firing ovens in 1974 in Freilassing as an independent company. The Austrian DENTALOFENBAU Ges.m.b.H was taken over by DEKEMA GmbH in 2006.

Given their practical design, robust construction and high quality, the DEKEMA furnaces achieved a nearly legendary reputation. Even the first version, the AUSTROMAT 2001 A, became a classic. For about 30 years, a large number of laboratories throughout the world have been working with these devices. From the start, DEKEMA has stood for expertise, innovation and reliability.
