Lava™ DVS - 4 simple steps to beauty:
Design
Start by designing a full contour restoration.The software automatically cuts back the full contour to produce an anatomically-shaped coping. This provides an ideal foundation to properly support porcelain work.
Milling
The zirconia coping is produced with a Lava Milling Machine. To produce the porcelain work, a Lava™ DVS glass ceramic block must be milled with the Lava™ CNC 500 Milling machine.
Fusion
The materials are simply fused together with Lava™ DVS Fusion Porcelain. The step requires minimal training and can be done by the milling center or by their dental lab customers.
Finishing
To characterize the restoration, the Lava™ DVS material set also includes stains, shades and glaze.
