Mr. Urban will discuss the future of denture technology, and provide guidance on replicating natural, functional occlusion in removable restorations. Anterior and posterior tooth selection, model preparation using anatomical landmarks, tooth setting guidelines, and waxing for try-ins will be discussed. Proper use of a set-up index key for occlusal plane model orientation, templates for accurately setting teeth, and a precision instrument for articulating models with or without a facebow registration will be explained. This course is perfect for beginning denture technicians; crown and bridge technicians desiring to learn denture techniques, or denture lab owners looking for some time-saving methods to increase profitability.
